Meet Trooper – The Adorable Pocket Pitbull Puppy!
photo & video gallery below!
Trooper is a 6-month-old small (“Pocket”) Pitbull (likely mix) with a personality as unique and lovable as his looks. One ear stands tall while the other flops down, and one of his eyes has a quirky slightly-outward tilt that only adds to his charm. Trooper is the perfect mix of friendly, smart, and spunky—a true heart-stealer who’s ready to find his forever home.
A Little About Trooper
Trooper is an incredibly smart pup who’s eager to please. He picks up obedience training quickly and even learns by mimicking the behavior of other dogs in his foster home. His favorite activities include playing with his doggie foster brothers (he especially loves running between the legs of his Wolfhound foster brother—hilarious to watch!), chewing on his toys, and snuggling up with his humans for some quality cuddle time.
Trooper is very food-motivated, which makes training both fun and effective. He’s also a puppy who thrives with both physical play and mental stimulation. Once he’s had a good session of playtime, he calms down quickly and is more than ready to curl up in your lap for snuggles.
The below stats are as of 12/21/2024:

Ideal Home for Trooper
Trooper would thrive in a home with:
An experienced dog owner familiar with puppy needs and training.
A fenced yard for playtime.
Other dogs to learn from, though he’d also do great as a single dog with plenty of human interaction.
A family patient and loving enough to guide him as he grows.
While he hasn’t been introduced to children or cats, his sweet and adaptable nature suggests he could do well in the right situation. With his intelligence and eagerness to learn, Trooper even shows potential for service dog training!
Training Progress
Trooper is about 95% house-trained and does great when shown where to go and given positive reinforcement. He currently sleeps and eats in his kennel and has already mastered “sit” and developed excellent recall skills. His foster family is working on additional commands, and with his quick learning abilities, he’ll be a star student in no time!
Why Trooper?
Trooper isn’t just another puppy—he’s a once-in-a-lifetime kind of dog. He’s full of love, personality, and potential. Whether he’s showing off his goofy antics, snuggling in your lap, or flashing his adorable “I know I’m cute” grin, Trooper will brighten your life in ways you never imagined.
